About the author
Daphne M. Clark is an organizational ethnographer and strategy consultant whose work explores how leadership, culture, and organizational systems shape human behavior and performance.
Her career has taken her through enterprise technology, behavioral health, customer experience, leadership development, and luxury hospitality—each becoming a field site for understanding how organizations function from the inside. Through sustained observation, she studies how people adapt under pressure, how decisions become embedded in systems, and how cultures evolve over time.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Daphne's perspective has also been shaped by a lifelong curiosity about people and place. Having traveled to all seven continents, she approaches organizations with the same mindset she brings to every unfamiliar culture: observing first, asking thoughtful questions, and looking for the patterns that others overlook.
Her work continues through ongoing research, writing, and conversations with leaders who are seeking to better understand the systems they inhabit—and the cultures they create.
